Sustainability

The Upper Wharfedale Primary Federation is committed to the objectives of sustainability.

Whilst we are constrained by our geographical location and historic buildings, we endeavour to act sustainably.

Recycling, employing local contractors, purchasing locally sourced food and using public transport are encouraged and supported where possible.

Our school buildings have been fitted with energy efficiency lighting and appliances.

The principles of sustainability form part of our curriculum.
